Corporals are the seasoned mercenaries who have shown loyalty to the guild. They are often given command of their respective reams.

The Sergeant is a squad leader, in charge of the troops under their Captains. They're entrusted with the forming of troops and the tasking of duties to multiple teams in combat.

This rank grants the Trusted User Role.

The Captain has shown great leadership skills and the dedication to the Black Sun to have gained sufficient rank to command several squads. With the Sergeants as their aides, the Captain can coordinate large movements on the battlefield.

This rank grants the Moderator Role.

The General has obtained the highest rank they can, unless they challenge the Field Marshal for control of the army as a whole. They sit as the council for all affairs affecting the Black Sun and command entire units, built as they see fit to accomplish a mission deigned by the Field Marshal.

This rank grants the Admin Role.

The Field Marshal is a General in charge of the army as a whole. His position is designed to issue overall objectives, which the Generals disperse down the chain of command as each unit takes action. He is the Chairman of the council and is obligated to ensure that his decisions are balanced with the councils will. Any General may take charge as the Field Marshal if a majority consensus rules that the Field Marshal steps down.
